A chart question sends no data
To build a chart the AI is given the structure of your data source - table and column names and data types. No records are transmitted.
AI analytics
The AI Copilot builds charts, the AI Agent answers follow-up questions, the AI Assistant explains results – all inside your smartlife BI environment. Each has a page of its own below.
Data protection
Three rules apply to every AI feature – in every plan and for every user.
To build a chart the AI is given the structure of your data source - table and column names and data types. No records are transmitted.
For an answer in words or a dashboard summary, the aggregated values of the charts involved travel with the question - never the records behind them.
The AI functions are optional. Switched off for an environment, they transmit nothing at all.
Ask a question. Get a finished chart – with the right chart type and the right filters already applied.
How the Copilot worksFollow-up questions, answered – without changing the dashboard everyone else is looking at.
How the Agent worksSummaries and help, in the designer and in dashboard view: what changed, what stands out, what to check.
How the Assistant worksOne sentence, one complete dashboard – a starting point you refine instead of a blank canvas.
Prompt-to-DashboardYour KPIs, in the tools you already use. Ask for a number where the conversation is already happening.
Smart ActionsSales asks about pipeline, finance about margin, operations about throughput – in their own words.
Questions about AI and data protection
For a chart, the structure of the data source and your question. For an answer in words or a dashboard summary, the aggregated values of the charts involved as well - the figures on screen, not the records behind them. Nothing else.
An external language model, and it runs outside the EU - at present in the United States, on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses. Which is exactly why the answer above matters: your data itself never goes there. The dashboards and the sources behind them stay on our own servers in Austria. Where even a figure on screen is one too many, the AI functions are switched off for the environment and nothing leaves it at all. You get the data processing agreement and the list of sub-processors before you sign.
No. They are part of every plan at no additional cost.
Yes, per environment and per role. Nothing is forced on a team that does not want it.
