Step 1: Pick the data
Choose the source you connected – a database, a file, a cloud service – and the fields you want to look at. The model you prepared is already there.

Step 2: Drag a field onto the canvas
Drop revenue onto the surface and you have a chart. Drop a second field onto it and you have a breakdown. The chart type follows what the data is, and you can override it at any time.

Step 3: Set the filters everyone needs
Period, region, product line: filters sit on the dashboard, not in each chart, so one click changes every visual on the board at once.

Step 4: Hand it over
Give the dashboard a name, decide who may open it, and set when it refreshes. From then on it is a fixed address your colleagues return to, not a file they have to be sent.

Do I need SQL to build a dashboard?
No. Fields are dragged onto the canvas and the filters are set in the interface. SQL is available where you want it, in the data preparation step, but a dashboard does not require it.
How long does the first dashboard take?
Once a source is connected, a first useful board is the work of an afternoon – often less. The demo we offer builds one with your data in 30 minutes.
Can two teams work on the same dashboard?
Yes. Permissions decide who may view and who may edit, so a department can keep a board of its own without a copy drifting away from the original.
What happens when a source changes?
New fields appear in the field list and existing widgets keep working. A field that disappears is reported on the widget that used it instead of silently showing nothing.
