Smart Actions

Not every number is worth opening a tool for.

Smart Actions let someone ask for a KPI where their team already works, and the answer comes back in the same place – read from the connected source, with the AI running inside your environment.

Where it happens

Six moments when nobody wants to open a dashboard

None of these are reporting problems. They are moments when one figure is missing and the detour to get it costs more than the figure is worth.

Mid-conversation

Someone asks how last week closed. The current figure lands in the same conversation – no screenshot, no “give me a minute”.

Two minutes before a meeting

Order intake is on the agenda and the number is still missing. Asking is faster than finding the right board and the right filter.

The colleague who never signs in

One figure a week is no reason to learn a reporting tool. She asks in the application she opens anyway and gets an answer she can stand behind.

As fresh as the source

The answer is read from the connected system at the moment of the question. Nothing comes out of a copy someone exported on Friday.

Only where you want it

Smart Actions are switched on per environment and per role. A department that has no use for them never sees them.

Two languages, one question

Ask in English or German, in the words you would use with a colleague. No field names, no syntax.

Why the short way matters

The distance between a question and a number

The detour that ages a number

Ask a colleague for last month’s margin and watch what happens. He opens the reporting tool, picks the right board, sets the period, takes a screenshot and pastes it back. Four minutes for one figure – and what arrives is a picture with no date on it.

A week later that picture is still being forwarded. Smart Actions remove the detour: the question stays where it was asked, and the answer is read from the source at that moment. Nobody ends up quoting a screenshot from a Tuesday that has passed.

One figure, not two

What an action returns comes from the same data model as your dashboards – the same joined tables, the same calculated fields, the same definition of what revenue means. That is the whole point of preparing data once: the number quoted in a meeting and the number on the board cannot drift apart, because they are the same number.

An answer in a chat window is an answer in words, so the figure it quotes travels with the question - the same number the dashboard shows, and nothing underneath it. Where that is one number too many for a team, the AI functions are switched off for the environment and the link back to the dashboard remains.

Before you hand it to a team

What comes up once the first department tries it

Does this replace dashboards?

No. An action answers one figure at a time. The moment the next question is “why”, a dashboard with drill-down and linked views is the better place to be – and it is one click away.

Do the questions have to be set up in advance?

There is no list of prepared queries to maintain. People ask in their own words, in English or German, the way they would ask the colleague at the next desk.

Who decides which teams may use it?

You do, per environment and per role. Switching it on for sales and leaving it off everywhere else is a setting, not a project.

Does asking cost extra?

No. The AI functions are included without a surcharge. Which plan suits you is a separate question, and the pricing page answers it.

Put it where your team already asks

Bring the figure your colleagues chase most often. We connect its source with you and place the question in the application you actually work in.
